What is a creative
brief and why is it important?
In the best cases,
a creative brief is a
document created through initial meetings, interviews, readings and discussions
between a client and designer before any work begins. Creative
briefs are designed as a guild lines for designers. Usually the brief will
outline what the client wants or hopes the gain during the project. Designers
use this brief to as a limitation there creativity. The problem that designers
my face is sometimes what they thinks is effective an efficient is not what the
client may want. Therefore the creative brief set limitation and guide lines so
that designers come up with concepts that the costumer wants. Creative briefs
can also remind the client what they initially signed up for. The client can
become over whelmed and require other ideas outside what was agreed. However for all intensive purposes creative briefs
are an agreement between client and organization that states the mission or the
objective of the project.
