Unsolicited proposals
give an opportunity for designers to work on the projects they want to work on.
But they're scary. Scary because they didn't ask for it so it's not really hard
for them to say no to your ideas and vision. Solicited proposals are also
pretty scary. Scary because you're probably not the only one proposing some
cool new idea. With both solicited and unsolicited proposals, your A game has
to be on. Clear and precise communication is key and could be the deciding
factor on your proposal being chosen. External proposals are directed toward
customers or clients outside the business. Internal proposals are directed at
people within the business. Nonetheless they both come from within a specific business.
