Blog #9 - Is it important to practice Emotional Intelligence when conducting business communication? Why?
Emotional Intelligence is the ability to identify and manage emotions within your self and others. In the world of communication, a letter to one person can be interpreted differently by that same person on separate occasions based on their emotional stability or instability on the day of interpretation. Understanding emotional intelligence will lead to clearer, more concise, effective and efficient communications as it allows the communicator to choose wordings more carefully and even more appropriate times to deal with different types of communication matters.
