Emotional intelligence is all about being sensitive to other peoples emotions and the ability to improve performance. I think it is very important to practice emotional intelligence in business communication because it helps to create a relationship with the client and the designer. With emotional intelligence it helps to be a good leader in the long run.
It is good to practice emotional intelligence because due to the fact that empathy can be shown to a client and thus creating a strong bond. It is important not to be an emotional wreck, because one has to keep composed and retain the posture of a strong leader.
